Multi-objective model for perishable food logistics networks design considering availability and access

Abstract The supply chains of perishable food (PFSC) fresh, present imbalances between and demand, in times deficit is necessary to guarantee the security through availability, access other pillars. In PFSC losses are highest, whereby delivery must be low availability. For access, include largest number retailed storekeepers, thus monopolies from large hypermarkets avoided. this context, modeling presents big challenges such as inclusion times, fresh biophysical specific conditions which depend transport time storage, configuration echelons on PFSC. article, a multiobjective, multiproduct multi-echelon for logistics networks design mixed linear programming model presented. allows determining best so that different actors PFSC, could move closer more efficient borders. considers derived impacts caused by changes temperature (T°) relative humidity (RH), mountainous environment developing countries. It solved AMPL e-constrains method. applied case study around fruit (PFrSC). information parameterization was obtained surveys done PFrSC during 4-year period were complemented with secondary public private enterprises.
